At the end of November 2021 Tsunami had the honor of planning and producing Makia's 20th anniversary celebration and the release of "Viha, Rakkaus, Makia”, the book detailing the company’s history, at Finlayson's old headquarters in Ruoholahti, Helsinki.

The event also saw the launch of Makia's collaboration with the American skate brand HUF, with the collection released simultaneously in Osaka, Tokyo, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Berlin, Paris, Milan and, of course, Helsinki.

For the event we built an arctic ultraviolet world in Finlayson's old headquarters with a soundscape from DJ Proteus, internationally acclaimed trance DJ extraordinaire. You can check out the vibe for the evening from the video below.
